Attorney Castro is of counsel to the Firm. She has worked in both the public and private sectors in areas including health law, business formation, administrative law, commercial tenancies, contract law, immigration law, and wills and trusts. As a litigation attorney with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, she represented the Department in courts across the state, from Pittsfield to Barnstable. In her private practice, she has enjoyed working with a variety of clients including physicians engaged in “Direct Primary Care” medical practices and experts at the apex of their professional fields immigrating to the United States. Attorney Castro has worked with nonprofit organizations as an advisor, board member and volunteer.
Attorney Castro graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. She attended New England School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List and earned an American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law. In 1994, she was admitted to the Massachusetts bar, followed by her admission to the First Circuit District Court and First Circuit Court of Appeals in 1995. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
