Join Us at the Table!

The new administration in Washington DC has issued a flood of executive orders and policy changes which could affect nonprofit organizations nationwide.  Some of these orders have been followed in quick succession with lawsuits filed by state attorney generals' offices, injunctions by the Court and even rescission by the administration itself.

These fast-paced developments can be disorienting and are creating immediate and potentially long-term challenges for nonprofits and the communities they serve.

We would like to hear from you:

What immediate challenges and decisions are you facing?

      How can we help?

Please join us for an invitation-only Zoom Roundtable on:

10-11 am on February 20

 2-3 pm on February 28

 7-8 pm on March 6

Our Attorneys will share early analysis of recent Executive Orders related to immigration, DEI and federal funding, as well as strategies for preparedness and building organizational resiliency.  The program will also include opportunities for questions and discussion with participants.

Reserve a spot by clicking on one of the dates above.  Please let us know which date you prefer, how many will be joining, and any questions or concerns you would like us to address.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Multi-State Registration & Compliance for Nonprofits: When, Where and How

Multi-State Registration & Compliance for Nonprofits: When, Where and How

Regulations governing nonprofit solicitation and reporting vary widely from state to state. What does your nonprofit need to know?

Are you keeping track of every state you fundraise in?

Do you use social media and online fundraising platforms that take your fundraising activities beyond your home state?

Do you know which states require compliance with fundraising registration and reporting laws and which do not?

Regulatory requirements for multistate fundraising are complex, hard to navigate, and compliance can be costly. Nonprofits soliciting funds outside their home states are well served when they adopt a strategic approach and have a good grasp of the legal requirements in a changing landscape before wading into these waters.

Join G.T. Reilly & Company Nonprofit Team Leaders Linda J. Kramer, CPA, MBA and Jayme F. Moore, CPA for a virtual roundtable discussion:

Guest Speakers:

Attorney Elizabeth S. Reinhardt and Christopher T. Leigh-Manuell, Paralegal
